Hillytown Biscuit Church at Garibaldi Hall
|
In this new adventure, the Hillytown Biscuit Church children are off for a church weekend away at Garibaldi Hall. Jake and his dad decide to cycle the whole 40 miles, but will they get there in one piece?
Garibaldi Hall is full of long corridors and hidden rooms, perfect for the Hillytown gang to spend a whole weekend running around together. There are grounds too, with a river and a rope swing and a mysterious castle hidden behind the trees.
During the weekend Jake learns that he can leave things in God’s hands - even when the older boys say confusing things about his dad. He also finds out what makes his dad a special kind of hero.

how to find a way through loss and grief to some kind of reconciliation and
sense of peace. It is based on a series of eight

experience of loss, grief and change, and her reflections on this are deeply
rooted in her own enduring Christian faith. The facilitator's notes are by Peter Fishpool.
The pack contains A4 picture cards, a CD-ROM with video
clips and support materials (pdf), a facilitator's booklet, and 8 postcards.
